TONIGHT S PRIZE

TONIGHT S PRIZE has done wonders. (see Retraining of Racehorses)

Bred and raced by David Allan - and the seed that grew into the Allan Bloodlines Showjumping Team - TP was a worthy ride for double Olympic Silver Medallist Jeanette Brakewell who combined well with trainer and producer Bernice Cuthbert in understanding the horse.

After generally successful and progressive Novice competitions and some exciting forays into Intermediate, Jeanette moved too far away and has been brilliantly succeeded by Abigail Walters (see The Human Team). Abi s status and TP s talent were both endorsed when TP was her ride at a January 2007 World Championship Training Camp.

In his most recent serious eventing outings, TP placed in an Intermediate Novice and went well over an extremely difficult course at Gatcombe (CIC**).

After schooling and a Novice to warm up, TP went Intermediate at Aston Le Walls (May 07). where he and Abi finished a highly crecitable 6th, including a jaw-dropping dressage mark of 27.1 even with some (inevitable) tongue protruberance. We're still on the up......

SCHOLARSHIP

Although a fully fledged member of the Allan Bloodlines Showjumping Team, SCHOLARSHIP has evented as part of his education and in order to test his potential in that area. A highly rated 2 year old on the flat, SCHOLARSHIP is one of those horses who makes everyone grin with pleasure. Nothing phases him and everything is a challenge to be met immediately.

He will now be taken more seriously down the Eventing road. His showjumping is at Newcomers level already. He has gone cross-country not just ordinarily well, but thrillingly so.
