DYNAMO DANE WINS NICELY AT DONCASTER

2yo winner for another Allan Bloodlines partnership

8th Nov 2008

Trained by James Given whose horses are in flying form and ridden confidently by Tom Queally, the 2 year old Danehill Dancer colt DYNAMO DANE won a Doncaster 6 furlong maiden handily this afternoon in spite of not really relishing the Soft ground.

Racing alone on the stands' side from his 17 of 17 draw, DYNAMO DANE took the lead 2 out and drifted acros the field, causing no difficulties as he was racing clear. Probably running green and away from the huge grandstand, the young fellow showed considerable promise.

This nicely bred colt - he is out of a black type mare - is owned in one of Allan Bloodlines' "Hintlesham Racing" partnerships, in this case four partners including Allan who made the purchase for €45,000 at Goffs Millions Sale. This quite modest sum for a well made DANEHILL DANCER resulted from the colt being under-prepared for the sale. Nevertheless, he is an honest sort who tries to do his best and benefited from painstaking pre-training firstly at Fawley House Stud and then continuing through the summer with James Given.
