BRILLIANT WIN FOR TITUS ALONE

Straight Bat Racing stalwart flies home at Kenilworth

11th Apr 2009

Allan Bloodlines' Cape Town Racing Club STRAIGHT BAT RACING celebrated another win this afternoon when multiple winner TITUS ALONE flew home with a fantastic finishing sprint to collar HOWDOULIKEMENOW on the line and win by a short head.

Jockey Aldo Domeyer came in for extra praise having been hampered when starting a run and having to check before renewing the effort. He may have enjoyed the win in a special way as he beat his father, Andrew Fortune, who rode the second.

STRAIGHT BAT RACING is proving to be an excellent way for racing fans - experienced and newcomers alike - to be involved with several horses trained in the Cape. For a full 12 months the cost is R 7,980 or £600 (with payment terms available).
