AMANA (USA), a Tattersalls July Sales unraced purchase by Allan Bloodlines, won an 11 furlong maiden at Killarney last night by 2-1/2 lengths sent out by trainer Pat Fahy.
Bought for the same series of syndicates with Fahy as winners HAMPSHIRE, AZANA and QEETHAARA, this very big Diesis filly from the family of RED CAMELIA and IBN BEY took more time than her predecessors to come to herself. But now AMANA, although not relishing yestesrday's Soft ground, is on the road to more successes all going well on the flat and/or over jumps.
