C'MON YOU IRONS WINS AGAIN

The Orpen gelding C'MON YOU IRONS ran away with a 6 furlong sprint at Pontefract last night, scoring his fifth victory by a clear 6 lengths.

Ian Mongan guided the horse cleverly first on the inside rail then with clear air between him and pack, switched to the nearside rail in the straight striding farther ahead.

This Allan selection has won 5 races at 2 (Hamilton),3 (Lingfield),4 (Windsor x 2, Pontefract) with several places. See 7th July News for further details.
