ALLAN BLOODLINES SHOWJUMPERS RETURN TO WINNING ACTION

Highly ranked rider Geoff Luckett wins on all four horses

20th Nov 2009

The Allan Bloodlines Showjumping Team had been away from the action for a number of months due to a dispute with their keeper who owned 15% of three of them.  All four hroses are again owned 100% and were released to Allan in July and September.

Transferred to Geoff Luckett, the GB Nations Cup rider and consistent winner on the circuit, all four horses with the epithet "Loughnatousa" - Diamond, Jimbo, Rafa and Raven have won at least one class each with Diamond winning twice and Jimbo three times including a Blue Chip Small Grand Prix qualifier at Aintree.  "Geoff Luckett gained a decisive win riding Loughnatousa Jimbo who clinched a 3 seconds winning margin in the Blue Chip 1.25m small Grand Prix qualifier," wrote Margaret Shaw in Horse & Hound. "Fifty-two started Sue Barratt's up-to-height course and 19 finished clear to contest the final round.  Drawn at the halfway stage, Geoff took every option possible and David Allan's powerful 11 year old grey gelding never wasted a second, taking a flier at the final upright to finish in 31.35 seconds.  Although Peter Shaw gave immmediate chase, his ride Garbo B finished narrowly in arrears to take second".

Next stop the Addington Premier where Raven may jump in the Grand Prix, returning to her former level, all going well.
