TEAM PRINCIPAL DAVID ALLANhas invested in specialist showjumpers as well as his retrained racehorses to form and develop the Team. Allan Bloodlines extensive involvement in thoroughbred racing and breeding is now complemented by high level showjumping and eventing. David somehow manages to be more or less ever present at competitions and key training sessions, working on strategy, setting fences and assisting with the horses, at the same time as marshalling the commercial and operational demands of a 60 horse enterprise at home and abroad.![]() TEAM TRAINER BERNICE CUTHBERThas a stellar CV in several equine disciplines. Having stood champion thoroughbred sire Dominion amongst others at her Aston Park Stud and successfully pinhooked foals, Bernice also rode at international level eventing and had a double clear at Badminton on her very good horse Apollo. She has produced eventers up to Olympic level, provided many world-class competitors with rides and has successfully retrained a stream of retired racehorses. Eventing training and success continue apace but, these days, Cuthbert s brilliance and meticulous attention to detail is also applied to specialist showjumpers with impressive effect.![]() TEAM CONSULTANT TIM BEECHERconfesses to be mightily impressed by the Allan Bloodlines Team s training and management of showjumpers. He initially sold the leading lights to Allan and has seen them achieve progress at a rate that even he had not predicted. Loughnatousa Farm in Co. Waterford, the Beecher family base, is renowned around the world for sourcing and producing quality horses and ponies. Through serving the demands of such diverse groups as wealthy American amateurs, military equine teams and Irish National Teams, Beecher is supremely qualified to identify potential and has recommended excellent horses to the Team. In special coaching sessions with horses and riders, Tim delivers invaluable master classes.![]() SHOWJUMPING RIDER JOHN CRIPPENwas born into a life with horses. A member of a nationally successful Pony Club team, John then won four Young Rider classes at the likes of Bicester and Royal Windsor. As a senior rider for the last couple of years, his star is rapidly in the ascendant as shown by Main Ring wins and places at Hickstead, Horse of the Year Show, Royal Windsor and the British Open at Sheffield. A patient starter and producer of young horses along with his parents and brothers, John s deep interest in the characteristics and capabilities of each different horse suits perfectly the approach of the Allan BloodlinesTeam. And so does his will to win.![]() EVENTING RIDER ABIGAIL WALTERSis another rapidly rising star. National Under 21 Champion not long ago and part of the Young Rider European Championship Gold Medal winning Team also winning individual bronze - Abi has been showered with public compliments by the likes of Mark Phillips and William Fox-Pitt. 2006 was punctuated with wins and admirable performances leading to Abi s selection for a January 2007 World Championship Training Camp where one of her rides was the Allan Bloodlines Team s Tonight s Prize. Under the tutelage of Gill Watson, Abi Walters is perfectly poised for greater international success.Allan
