David returned yesterday from another visit to Kazakhstan spanning 5 very busy days in Almaty, helping to arrange and guide the visit of Bobby Jackson of Tattersalls plus an extra day of meetings and celebration.

The celebration was for the win of MAKE MEMORIES, defending his title at Almaty Hippodrom as President’s Cup Winner on Sunday, making it six local Grade 1 wins including a 2,000 Guineas and Derby equivalent. The son of Street Cry was bought by AllanBloodlines as a 2 year old at Tattersalls for Mr Yeraliyev Adilkhan who also enjoyed another winner on President’s Cup Day, also bought by AllanBloodlines at Tattersalls Ascot.

The two visitors were given the honour of presenting the President’s Cup trophies before Bobby left with David staying an extra 24 hours to plan for upcoming sales and other consultations. The whole visit was filled with visits, tours, meetings and characteristically generous hospitality.
