Raven begins to develop a fan club

LOUGHNATOUSA RAVEN waltzed around the Grand Prix course at the Blue Chip Finals at Harpury last night to take 4th place in amongst international horses, unextended. She could have gone quickly enough to win but at this level, might have made an error that her vastly more experienced rivals would not.

The rider and mare combination is turning heads these days. RAVEN and John Crippen had taken 3rd place in the A&B Final on the previous evening with a round described as “Poetry in Motion” by a top rider whilst LOUGHNATOUSA DIAMOND placed 3rd in his warm up class and thrilled the crowd in his own Grade C final, just failing to take 2nd place in the speed jump-off when an unlucky pole rolled at the last.

LOUGHNATOUSA JIMBO showed his scope whilst gaining experience in his first Grand Prix and LOUGHTATOUSA RAFA also placed at 1.20, coming back from a respiratory infection.
