Tiger Dance colt is 3rd winner out of David’s first yearling purchase in SA

BURRA BOY – named for the locality from which his owners the Richard family hail – won comfortably at Scottsville today after knocking on the door several times.

Trained by Mark Dixon and ridden by Keagan De Melo, the son of TIGER DANCE made good use of a favourable draw and drew clear in the straight to win the 1400 metres maiden contest in a promising manner.

Bred by David Allan, BURRA BOY is out of SELIKA by National Emblem.  Selika was the very first yearling bought by David in SA.  She won in his colours and is now the dam of 3 winners from 4 runners.
