Talented but quirky….

It may not be Doncaster, Meydan or Turffontein but one of the five meetings in UK and Ireland today is at Uttoxeter where the much-loved DON’T PANIC(Fath-Torrmana) owned by Tony Webb, trained by Ron Hodges and managed by Allan Bloodlines since we bought him as a yearling, won for the 6th time this afternoon in the hands of conditional Conor O’Farrell. We have all been through the mill with this horse, rated 100+ on the Flat, who won the Doncaster Spring Mile plus twice at Goodwood whilst being Group 3 and Listed placed. He then developed his own ideas and refused to leave the stalls, causing many months of research and “getting his head right” and a formal appeal to the authorities to lift his complete ban. Just an ordinary 2 mile hurdle, but yet more pleasure generated by this quirky chap
