Not the usual numbers bought this year at Tattersalls February Sales but extremely pleased to get two just-turned-3 year olds either side of 20,000 guineas from a short list of only four.

One is a Coolmore bred and raced WAR FRONT colt with a very strong pedigree. not up to Coolmore stallion standards (although the pedigree would be) but at 23,000 guineas a placed juvenile beginning to strengthen up and just the right sort for the improving racing scene in Kazakhstan that we have been serving for fifteen years.

A filly by WORTHADD at 18,000 guineas was one of the best individuals of her ability level and had won since the catalogue was printed – over a mile which is ideal.

A very low cost filly (just-turned-2yo) by SIR PERCY looks an extraordinary bargain but in that category we could have done with a wider choice.
