Northern and Southern Hemisphere breeding developments

Having started the foaling season with the production of JEREMY’S first foal, a filly ex LANEHAYA by CAPE CROSS, the filly trend has dominated in subsequent arrivals in the Allan Bloodlines team.

Amongst client mares, fillies by ARCH, HURRICANE RUN and DANEHILL DANCER have successfully arrived, together with a colt by DIXIE UNION, whilst Night Shift mare BEECHESVILLE, owned in partnership, has a filly by ONE COOL CAT, and black type Sadler’s Wells mare YOUM JADEED, also in partnership, produced a filly by DUBAI DESTINATION. A LION HEART filly is awaited from the exciting Red Ransom mare FRAYNE.

Five owned mares have been sold in foal in favour of retaining youngsters, with stallions used this season including (alphabetical) AMADEUS WOLF, AUSSIE RULES, CAPE CROSS, DUBAI DESTINATION, HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR, INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, MONTJEU, ONE COOL CAT, TALE OF THE CAT and VERGLAS.

On Southern Hemisphere time, the Allan team is comprised of eleven mares in South Africa, ten in foal including several to top Klawervlei Stud sires CAPTAIN AL and NATIONAL EMBLEM, and another black type producer to GIANT’S CAUSEWAY’s brother TIGER DANCE.
