Allan owned mares have started the 2007 Foaling Season with a hat-trick of colts.

At Darby Dan Farm in Lexington KY, the RED RANSOM mare FRAYNE (USA) produced a big 31st January colt by the UNBRIDLED SONG horse BUDDHA. FRAYNE will visit DIXIELAND BAND, sire of her Belmont winning 2yo colt MARCH TO VICTORY and it is hoped that he does more of that in 2007 at 3.

In Newmarket on Houghton Bloodstock premises, home bred CARINTHIA (IRE) by TIROL, a winner in England and a nostril 4th in St Cloud Listed company, produced a nice 15th February colt by BEAT HOLLOW followed soon afterwards in Co. Tipperary by a member of the first crop of RAKTI. His dam, DESCANT (USA) is a NUREYEV half sister to ZAFONIC and ZAMINDAR and dam of two winners so far. DESCANT visits NOVERRE and a decision on CARINTHIA will follow shortly after assessing a suggestion of Southern Hemisphere breeding.
