AllanBloodlines purchases for Kazakhstan maintain the strike rate in their best races

In 2004 and 2005, David Allan researched first hand the conditions in the enormous, oil&gas rich Central Asian country of Kazakhstan in a project undertaken following the initatives, ambitions and strong support of Mr Maksat Akhaev, an Almaty-based owner/breeder.In 2005, February Sales selections SLIP CATCH, RUBY MURRAY and VALIANT ACT swept the best races including 1st and 2nd in the equivalent of the 1,000 Guineas and wins in several other Group and Listed contests, setting track records along the way.The latest four fillies – selected this time at Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sales 2005 and now 3 year olds – have performed in 2006 so far as follows:HALLANDALE (Bold Edge – Halland Park Girl) WON all her three starts including beating the colts in the 2,000 Guineas equivalent in a new record time.

FLYING KEY (Key of Luck – Belle Bijou) WON the 1,000 Guineas equivalent as well as WON the 1400 metre”Sprinters Cup” Gr.3

ZAMBACH (Namid – Marliana) WON the opening race of the season, a Gr. 3 1800 metre race in heavy conditions. She also placed 3rd in the 1,000 Guineas

PROPER LADY (Danehill Dancer – Promising Lady) lives up to her name and has improvement to come but has already WON and placed at handicap level.There are plenty of races yet to come, and HALLANDALE may make the long journey to Moscow for the Nasibov Cup in August.
