Storm Cat over Rahy does it again

GIANT’S CAUSEWAY, like full brother TIGER DANCE by STORM CAT out of a RAHY mare, kept himself in the spotlight the other day on the Turf Track at Colonial Downs when his excellent 3 year old son RED GIANT took the $1,000,000 ($600,000 to the winner) Virginia Derby Gr.2.

Ironically, the Virginia Derby was worth more than double the Gr.1 Eddie Read Handicap at Del Mar – which was won by a colt by STORM CAT out of – yes indeed – a mare by RAHY. Named AFTER MARKET, this $300,000 purchase flew the flag for this remarkable cross in the best of company.

TIGER DANCE, GIANT’S CAUSEWAY, YOU’RESOTHRILLING (favourite to be Champion 2yo filly in Europe) all full siblings STORM CAT over RAHY. AFTR MARKET, Gr.1 winner last weekend, STORM CAT over RAHY.

See TIGER DANCE at the Highlands Stallion Parade on Saturday 28th July. R35,000 (10,000 + 25,000 31 May) and some shares remaining at R130,000 + VAT (2 mares first season). Around 65 mares are already committed.
