Penny drops with a most satisfying clunk

At Wolverhampton this evening, GRAND VIZIER, a 3yo Desert Style gelding bought as a yearling (33,000 euro) and managed by Allan Bloodlines, came home strongly to win an 8.5 furlong all-weather maiden for owners and long time clients Hintlesham SP Partners (Sue Cunningham and Peter Brown).

GRAND VIZIER had shown promise on his Newbury debut and young Liam Jones, well worth his 3 lb claim, made light of the outside draw, holding a good position in the muddling pace before kicking for home to win by half a length.
