Another in series of Allan Bloodines multiple winners from Fairyhouse

On a wet but thoroughly enjoyable evening at Kempton, GRAND VIZIER racked up his 5th career win in fine style in the final of the Weatherbys Printing Apprentice Handicap series, a well contested 0-85 handicap with runners from powerful yards.

Leading apprentice Jack Mitchell had to give up the ride after notching more than 50 winners recently, but Jamie Hamblett deputised well.

Drawn wide, GRAND VIZIER cruised along clear of kick-back, and took a good position going into the bend. Following instructions carefully, Jamie kept him wide awake but did not push the “go” button until some way into the straight. The response was electric. Quickening up, GRAND VIZIER joined a multiple battle for the lead and prevailed inside the final furlong, winning by two lengths going away. The fight for the places was strong, so this was no soft victory.

Long time Allan Bloodlines supporters and experienced owners Sue Cunningham and Peter Brown celebrated yet another multiple winner purchased and managed for them by the Allan team, trained like this fellow by Chris Wall.

Allan Bloodlines has purchased the winners of 33 races in recent forays to Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sales, trained by Wall, Bryan Smart, and Peter Chapple-Hyam, scoring 77% winners to purchases and 94% winners or placed including GRAND VIZIER and five winners of 4 races or more, several with black type along the way.
