GREAT RUN BY ICE LORD FIRST TIME OUT 2016

Apr 18, 2016

Hintlesham Racing Flag Bearer close 2nd at Windsor

ICE LORD returned to the racecourse after his winter off, now gelded and looking great, in a 6 furlong handicap at Windsor last night.

John Fahy gave him a good ride, substituting for a sick Adam Kirby, up a fresh strip of turf four off the rail.

Starting 2nd favourite, ICE LORD finished 2nd but not to the favourite who floundered this time out finishing at the back.  The ground was in his favour but down the centre of the track it was badly cut up.

After a good first run like that, it is open to us to go stiff 6 or sharp 7.
