HINTLESHAM RACING AND THE MANAGEMENT

Hintlesham Racing was established in 1996 as the Racing Syndicate arm of international manager and consultant David Allan of Allan Bloodlines which has a proud 30 year record of judgement and renowned customer service. Over 70% winners, more than double the average, come from Allan’s sales and breeding selections – many in Hintlesham colours and many being multiple winners at sensible prices.

At affordable costs, Hintlesham runners serve their patrons well, backed up by excellent communication. David’s broad professional involvement in the thoroughbred sport and industry at home and abroad gives participants an ideal opportunity for in-depth involvement and enjoyment.

PRE-TRAINING

Most horses are pre-trained at Fawley House Stud in Oxfordshire, near Lambourn, then rested there or in Newmarket as and when appropriate. Fawley House has an extraordinary record having co-selected and/or pre-trained a Derby Winner and many Royal Ascot and other top level winners. Many successful Allan/Hintlesham horses after purchase by Allan Bloodlines have gone through the Fawley Academy including many multiple winners and some modestly priced black type performers.

Danni and her husband Stephen are consummate professionals. Spending time with them and the horses on their beautiful farm gives yet another dimension to Hintlesham Syndicates.

OUR MUCH VALUED FIXED COSTS

Currently £238.00 per month in pre-training or resting then £340.00 per month  when in full training. There will be an inflationary adjustment from April (for Ts&Cs see Explanation & Rules). T’s and C’s apply.

THE CURRENT HORSE(S)

ICE LORD pictured at Wolverhampton

ICE LORD – retired October 2020

8 year old grey gelding by Verglas out of Special Lady (Kaldoun) This strong fellow has a special place in our hearts as “a Saturday horse”: five times a winner (including Ascot, Newmarket, Doncaster), many times placed (at those courses and elsewhere). Highest RPR 100. Lovely horse,  originally purchased by AllanBloodlines as a yearling.

Read up about his retirement here.

Flying Standard kicks clear to win comfortably

FLYING STANDARD (IRE)

Chestnut gelding by Starspangledbanner out of Snow Scene by Singspiel – to whom his distances tend.

FLYING STANDARD is so far a winner of two races at 10 and 12 furlongs at 3. Having taken time, and been held up early last season by Covid time off racing, he found his feet and has wintered well. He is regarded as a potentially big improver in 2021.

10% is available at modest cost – please call for details.

RODOLFO (GB)
Bay colt by POET’S VOICE (GB) (Dubawi) out of BE FREE (Selkirk)

This is a well made, attractive son of a prematurely deceased sire who was a great miler himself and who sired a brilliant King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (Gr1) and Prince of Wales’s Stakes (Gr1) winner. Our colt is part of his last crop, being born in January 2019.

POET’S VOICE sired 88/96/81 winners in 2017/18/19 and 67 in foreshortened 2020 (as of November) – the same number as Frankel. Having sadly passed away at a young age, POET’S VOICE no longer has commercial support from Darley/Godolphin therefore his progeny are quite rare and reasonably priced.

10% only is available – going nicely in training in Newmarket

10% remaining: that share costs £3,650.- including all costs to end April 2021 and insurance to mid 2021.

Then monthly costs as above from 1st May 2021 billable 1st June and payable 14 days.
