IMPRESSIVE WIN BY ICE LORD

Jul 25, 2015

ICE LORD ran away with a Salisbury maiden yesterday evening, dropped back to 6 furlongs although a stiff version of that sprint. He won by 8 lengths which could have been more.

Having waited ages for easier ground, an entry was made for this race in anticipation of rain coming on Friday.

It came! The ground ended up Good – very nice racing ground.

ICE LORD is a 3 year old colt by Verglas out of Special Lady by Kaldoun and was bought by David, working with Danni O’Neill of Fawley House Stud, as a yearling.

He is owned by a Hintlesham Racing Syndicate managed by Allan Bloodlines and trained by Clive Cox who has done a fantastic job through a period off the track.  John Fahy was the victorious rider.
