It doesn’t get much better than a Royal Ascot winner and unbeaten TITUS ALONE – (trainer Bryan Smart) see earlier notices below – powered away from STRIKE UP THE BAND to win the Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed) at the Royal Meeting at York in a blisteringly fast time.

The chestnut speedball (so named by Kevin Darley when sitting on him at home) gave connections one of the best of all days as well as multiplying his value by a factor of several dozen. His next targets include the valuable Super Sprint at Newbury with other bonus race and Group opportunities to follow.

On Friday 17th evening, KEYAKI (trainer Chris Wall/jockey George Baker) had made nearly all to win a 7 furlong handicap at Goodwood in good style under a thinking man’s ride. Off the course for 41 days due to a mildly tweaked back muscle, KEYAKI may have needed the race and should continue to improve after her third win for Hintlesham SPD Partners.
