and SHAHEER shows us what to do

On a productive evening at Leicester, 2yo filly SAKABULA (by King of Kings ex Sianema) won her second start having shown encouraging form in a strong Newmarket maiden on debut. SAKABULA – still running green with surely more to come in the fullness of time – stayed on late to win the EBF High Sherriff’s Maiden on Good to Soft ground.

Bought by Allan Bloodlines for 19,000 guineas at Tattersalls October Sales Part 2 to be retained and trained by Giles Bravery in Newmarket, SAKABULA is half sister to a black type winning sprinter and a close relative of INFAMY and her illustrious progeny making her a most exciting broodmare prospect.

On the same evening, the luckless but valiant SHAHEER (3yo by Shahrastani), trained by Brian Meehan, ran a good 4th on his first real experience of easy ground and will now be stepped up to 10 furlongs to advertise his future hurdling credentials.
