Watching live on the Clocking the Gallop YouTube channel, we could see SEATTLE SWIFT winning on the excellent Borrowdale layout in Harare – surviving trouble in running and showing that she has developed confidence.

Bred in our Alado Project, SEATTLE SWIFT is by Alado(GB) out of the winning mare PARIS WIND whose first two foals are now both Alado winners. Trainer Bridget Stidoph bought this filly for nine owning partners – much appreciated – and has already come back for another Alado. Teague Gould flew into Harare for the winning ride.

PARIS WIND is by IMPERIAL STRIDE (by INDIAN RIDGE out of a SADLER’S WELLS mare). She has two more Alados on the ground and will be redeployed. She is half sister to the useful SA Stakes Winner SEATTLE STORM, both being out of the 8 winner and multiple Stakes placed Sherry Elizabeth, an Elliodor full sister to Gr3 winning KOKKEWIET.
