AllanBloodlines South Africa

Allan Bloodlines has been active for 19 years in the South African thoroughbred industry, traditionally the world’s 8th largest although with reduced foal production in recent years now offering consniderable upside. The South African thoroughbred is a very good representative of the breed able to compete at world class when given the opportunity.

David Allan is in South Africa (in normal travel conditions) during almost every month of the year and has invested substantially in SA bloodstock, currently owning eleven broodmares including fillies raced on the track.

Racing management pays off, and syndication takes place under “HintleshamRacing South Africa” in which colours many runners have passed the post first to the delight of shareholders and partners from South Africa, UK, Ireland and elsewhere.

Allan-selected horses have built a good track record (approx 74% winners to runners, 93% winners or placed). On the breeding side, many fillies and mares have been imported from UK and Ireland, or bought locally to race then breed.

In addition to our own stock, we manage broodmares for overseas owner/investors. AllanBloodlines also manages South Africa based stallions.
