Subject: Our Sincere Sympathy

Dear David and Yoshiko-san,

We were incredibly sad to hear about the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth.  We would like to offer my sincere condolences on behalf of our company.

We are watching the Queen’s state funeral on TV.  Looking at her numerous ceremonies up to this day, we have reconfirmed how deeply she was respected by the people.

The Queen was much admired and respected in Japan.  She will be remembered for her grace, leadership and strong sense of duty.  We in Japan share your grief.

We are proud to had sold the Queen’s protected Cleveland Bay to the Imperial Stud.

Yours sincerely,

Toshie & Tomoe Kanasashi

“Longstanding supporter of South African breeding and racing, David Allan bought the joint second top-priced mare at R360,000 – Lot 75, the Australian imported daughter of Danehill Dancer and a full-sister to Stakes winners Queen Mira and Umgiyo; the latter placed in the Gr.2 Dubai City of Gold Stakes for Mike de Kock”

EBN Today reporting on the Bloodstock South Africa Cape Mare Sale 19th May 2016

“Allan Bloodlines’ approach to selecting horses is truly impressive. They combine an in-depth knowledge of pedigrees with a careful assessment of conformation to draw up a very short list of horses to be examined in the second phase. On top of this they use the Brain system to provide another view of a horse’s potential. Thanks to this system I and my partners have been fortunate in owning three successful horses – all multiple winners. Having accompanied the team on sales visits for all three horses (and having used them as racing managers subsequently) I am more than happy to recommend Allan Bloodlines to others who are looking to embark on the wonderful experience of owning a horse and want to feel that they are in good hands. Watching your horse win – when you have bought it as a yearling and followed its progress through training – has to be one of the best feelings in life.”

Sue Cunningham

“David and Yoshi Allan have been training with me since I started. Together we won over forty races for themselves, their partners and clients as well as having a lot of fun along the way. Allan Bloodlines manages racehorses very smoothly making communication and planning easy and progressive and we have a well above average strike rate of winners – often multiple winners – with their selections”.

Chris Wall

“Membership of Hintlesham Thoroughbreds afforded me twelve years of enjoyment and fun in the company of some very nice people. The club is very well run and members are constantly kept informed of the horses’ progress, well-being and future racing prospects. Race days are always a pleasure, whatever the outcome.”

Alan Reed

“In 1996 when looking for a new experience I joined Hintlesham Thoroughbreds, then a new racing club set up by a very old friend David Allan. Through many years of membership, I still thoroughly enjoy everything the Club has to offer. Soon after joining I stepped up to what has subsequently turned out to be the extraordinary pleasure of owning (in partnership) several racehorses! With the extremely professional and invaluable help of Allan Bloodlines I have now enjoyed three multiple winning racehorses. I look forward to many more years of similar success friendship and fun with Allan Bloodlines and our horses.”

Peter Brown

“Quality of Life can truly be enhanced through Allan Bloodlines partnerships”

Michael Van Blerk, Chairman, Mashonaland Turf Club

“I have enjoyed over ten years of exciting race-going as a member of Hintlesham Thoroughbreds. We are a group of friendly people who share all of the benefits of ownership – visiting stables, meeting trainers, with prize money share and excellent communications. All at modest cost. I highly recommend the experience.”
