Allan purchase for Chapple-Hyam looks to have plenty of talent

Allan Bloodlines’ purchase VICTORY IDE SAY won his maiden at Doncaster this evening in fine style for trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam.  Looking like he will enjoy farther than 6 furlongs, the chestnut appears to have considerable talent.

Alan Munro knew that this son of Fath was well thought of at home and, in the horse’s second run, gave him a confident ride, drawing clear with a furlong to go and winning comfortably by three and a quarter lengths.

Bought for €20,000 by Allan at Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling sale, the chestnut took some time to come to himself but made his debut on polytrack late last year finishing 3rd having been squeezed in a sandwich.  This evening, he made no mistake.

Sons of Fath, now exported to Australia, selected by Allan Bloodlines are DON’T PANIC (€40,000, TF 100+), FATHOM FIVE (€5,500, TF 100+), SUPER TUSCAN (16,000 gns, 2yo winner) and now this fellow.  Bring back Fath!
